Today makes 7 years!!
On Halloween Day 2013, Albert got a call from his Surgical Endocrinologist in Austin with the results of his biopsy. That was the day we met the ‘c’ word. Specifically, NeuroEndocrine Carcinoma.
Since then we have been leaning left and right into every turn of this crazy ride. Some roads have been straighter than others, we like the curvy roads the best. But those hills!! We have had lots of ups, lots of downs! We take the uphills slowly so we can anticipate what’s coming, saving our energy for that last push up and over that hill. We’ve enjoyed all the cruising, enjoying the scenery and stopping to smell the roses every chance we get.
